The stylistic and morphological similarities between this male figure and the female piece, Digambara Yakshi Kushmandini suggest that they form a pair. While their exact identification is difficult to determine, they conform to a type that is generally identified as male (yaksha) or female (yakshi) attendant figure. Such figures are common in Hindu, Jain and Buddhist art. Digambara Yaksha Sarvahna is a Jain attendant figure.
