When Goya painted Don Pedro, Duque de Osuna, Don Pedro was known as one of Spain’s wealthiest and most talented noblemen. He was also one of Goya’s most faithful patrons, and here the artist shows him as a confident and intelligent man commanding both respect and admiration. Draw your own portrait, keeping in mind what you would like people to know about your subject.
