Discover approaches to drawing the human head and hands with artist Richard Houston. Working from masterworks in the Museum’s collections, students explore drawing heads and hands through a series of discussions, demonstrations and exercises.

Understanding the Hand
For many beginning artists, drawing hands can be a very challenging task. Working from masterworks in the Museum’scollections, students explore an approach to drawing the human hand through simplified form analysis and proportion.


Meets in Entrance Gallery | All levels of experience are welcome. Each class is $20 ($16 for members), and space is limited to 18 participants.
