The Norton Simon Museum recognizes that teachers are vital partners in introducing generations of students to the Museum’s collections.
We are pleased to offer a special membership level for full time active K – 12 teachers and teachers at accredited undergraduate and graduate level schools.
Please note we do not currently offer gift memberships at the Teacher Level. Read on for information about eligibility requirements and how to apply.

Q: Who is eligible for the Teacher Level membership?
A: K – 12 teachers and teachers at accredited undergraduate and graduate level schools are eligible.
Q: What proof do I need to show?
A: One of the following forms of proof is required:
- State issued educators license
- Pay stub
- Teacher identification badge
Proof of eligibility is required every year if you would like to renew your Teacher Level membership. Failure to provide proof will delay the processing of the membership.
Q: Can my current membership level be refunded and/or applied to the Teacher level membership?
A: We do not offer refunds for any membership level.
