Drawing Breakthroughs at the Norton Simon: Musicality

Join artist and author Richard E. Scott in an exploration of the collections in this six-part drawing series. Each session focuses on common drawing problems and provides specific solutions to overcome these challenges. Working in pencil, students learn how to improve their skill, gain confidence and enrich their museum-going experience.
In the third session, students learn to establish "harmonies" in a subject to produce skillful and confident drawings. Students apply the lesson by drawing works in the Southeast Asian collection.

- All levels of experience are welcome. Each class is $25 ($20 for members), and space is limited to 20 participants. All materials and admission to the galleries on the day of class are included.
