Go for a walk in the woods with Finn and Grandpa in Beneath, written and illustrated by Cori Doerrfeld. Even though Finn would rather stay inside, Grandpa takes Finn on a walk and teaches him that people, just like the objects found in nature, are often hiding something beneath what we can see on the outside. Take a close look at a large landscape painting and think about what lies beneath the natural world. Then, create a layered collage inspired by the world around you.
