Ganesha, the Hindu god known as the remover of obstacles, must solve a big problem when he is challenged by his brother, Kartikeya, to a race around the world. Hear about Ganesha’s efforts to beat his brother in Ganesha’s Great Race, written by Sanjay Patel and Emily Haynes and illustrated by Sanjay Patel, while examining a sculpture of Ganesha. Take inspiration from the story to draw your own racetrack and imagine racing around the world.
