Paintings from Mishima displayed the work of 14 artists from Mishima, Pasadena’s sister city in Japan. The event was sponsored by the Foreign Cities Affiliation Committee and the Pasadena Society of Artists. Proceeds from the sales of the artworks, which included oil paintings, watercolors and prints, funded scholarships for the Children’s Art Institute of Mishima.
