Sculpture in Two Dimensions: The Prints of Moore and Nevelson
Sculpture in Two Dimensions: The Prints of Moore and Nevelson is an exhibition of works on paper by two of the twentieth century's leading scuptors, Louise Nevelson and Henry Moore. Nevelson's prints, created during a residency at the Tamarind Lithography Workshop, combine irregularly shaped papers and repeated images in large scale compositions, which reflect the textural richness and strength of her sculpture. Moore's prints derive from two separate series, the Elephant Skull Album of 1969, and the Stonehenge Suite of 1971-1973.
