John B. Flannagan

This solo exhibition at the Pasadena Art Museum featured 13 sculptures and 16 watercolors, drawings and prints by John B. Flannagan. The watercolors and drawings were produced primarily between 1926 and 1931, with more recent works exemplified in sculpture, such as Not Yet (1940), in bronze and Little Creature (1941), in stone. The exhibition was organized by Elizabeth S. Navas on behalf of the American Federation of Arts. After the Pasadena Art Museum, the show traveled to the Art Museum of the New Britain Institute. Lenders included the Whitney Museum of Art, Weyhe Gallery and other private collectors.
